Easy Proxy is a deliberately simple extension for HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS proxies. No need to understand proxy settings — one click switches Chrome to the proxy you want. What it does: - save as many of your own proxies as you want (host, port, protocol, username/password) - turn any saved proxy on or off in one click - a Free tab with proxies already verified by our own checker server — not a raw unfiltered list - non-blocking proxy testing (yours and free ones) — test several at once without freezing the popup - status always visible: country, IP, connection uptime - auto-corrects the HTTP/HTTPS protocol when a proxy provider mislabels it Why it's easy to trust: - everything is stored locally (`chrome.storage.local`); saved passwords are never shown again - no account, no subscription - minimal permissions — see the Privacy Policy for exactly why each one is needed Honest limitations: - Chrome itself does not support username/password authentication for SOCKS proxies — use the HTTP/HTTPS port instead - free proxies are public and can be slow or unreliable
