Easy Notes turns your Chrome toolbar into a private, local-first markdown notebook. Open the popup, write a note, and it's saved instantly on your device — no account, no server, no tracking. Highlights • Markdown editor with headings, bold, italics, strike-through, alignment, bullet and ordered lists, task lists, blockquotes, horizontal rules, and external links. • Folders to group notes by project or topic, plus one-click pinning for the notes you reach for every day. • Instant fuzzy search across every note title and line of text. • Auto-save on every keystroke — close the popup and reopen it to keep writing exactly where you left off. • JSON backup import and export for the whole library. • Export a single note as Markdown, HTML, PDF (via the print dialog), or Notion-friendly blocks. Privacy Easy Notes stores everything in your browser using IndexedDB. The extension declares no permissions, no host permissions, and never sends your notes anywhere. There is no analytics, telemetry, account system, or remote backend.
