**Easy Bookmark Sync** keeps your bookmarks in sync across your own computers - through your own Google Drive, with no server in the middle and no account with us. You create your own free Google Cloud connection (a one-time, ten-minute setup with no coding), and from then on the extension talks directly to your Drive. Your bookmarks and your Google access never pass through anything we run. **Two ways to sync, pick per computer:** - **Master / Destination** - one computer is the source of truth; any number of others mirror it. Simple and predictable: the master always wins. - **Merge (Two-Way)** - any number of computers stay in sync both directions. Add a bookmark on one, it shows up on the rest. Delete one, it's gone everywhere. If the same bookmark or folder gets changed differently on two computers before they sync, you're shown both versions and pick which one to keep - nothing gets silently overwritten. **Built for peace of mind, not just syncing:** - A small status dot right on the toolbar icon - green when synced, red on error, spinning while it works, amber if something needs your attention - so you always know at a glance without opening anything. - An automatic safety backup the first time you connect, and another automatic one whenever a computer joins a Merge group, on top of on-demand manual backups you can create, browse, and restore anytime. - A short activity log of recent syncs, backups, and any errors. - Manual, Realtime, or fixed-interval sync frequency - your choice. **Minimal permissions, by design:** Only requests Google's `drive.file` scope - it can only ever see the files and folders it creates itself, never your whole Drive. Works on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Privacy Because each person who installs this extension connects their own Google Cloud OAuth credentials, the developer never receives, stores, or has access to anyone's bookmark data or Google account access. Everything stays between you and your own Google Drive.
