Earnlocker

Block distracting sites until you earn time with flashcards, lessons, tasks and focus. Syncs with the Earnlocker phone app.

Earnlocker locks the sites that eat your day, like YouTube, Reddit, X and Instagram, until you earn time by doing something good for your brain. Then you spend the minutes you earned, guilt-free. Ways to earn, right on the lock page: • Flashcards: review your due cards (your own decks, or HSK 1/2 Chinese and Spanish A1 starter decks with Premium) • Tasks: finish something from your to-do list (press and hold to confirm) • Lessons: three-minute history and physics reads with a short quiz (Premium) • Review quiz: questions from finished lessons come back on a spaced-repetition schedule (Premium) • Shadowing: listen to a Chinese line and say it out loud, from single words to whole conversations (Premium) • Focus: 20 minutes of focus earns 10 minutes • Journal: one short entry a day How it works: 1. Install Earnlocker on your iPhone and sign in. 2. In the app open Settings → Pair a browser, and type the code into the extension. 3. Your blocked sites, earned minutes and unlocks are shared across your phone and every paired browser. Unlock 15 minutes in Chrome and your phone apps open too; lock again early and get the unused minutes back. Honest by design: rewards are checked on the server. Cards earn whatever grade you give, lessons only pay when every answer is right, shadowing lines only count after you've played them, and there's a daily earning cap you control. Free forever: block one website, use your own flashcards, tasks, focus and journal. Premium (subscribe in the Earnlocker iPhone app) adds more blocked sites and apps, built-in decks, lessons, the review quiz and shadowing. It unlocks in the extension automatically. Requires a free Earnlocker account, created in the Earnlocker iPhone app. Privacy: the extension checks site addresses only inside your browser to decide what to lock. It never records or uploads your browsing history.
