earcue
Overview
Adds your browsing history and bookmarks to your earcue memory, and the text of pages you read if you turn that on.
earcue is a personal memory that reads your mail, chats, calendar and documents and tells you what needs you today: a reply you owe, a promise you made, someone you have not been in touch with. This extension adds what you do in your browser, so its recommendations follow what you actually read. How it works • Install it, open earcue, go to Sources and click Connect this browser. Nothing is sent before you do. • It adds your browsing history from the last 180 days, then what is new every hour, and your bookmarks once a week. • If you want, turn on "Also add pages I read": earcue keeps the text of a page you stay on for 8 seconds or more. Chrome asks you for access to the sites you visit only then. Pages with a password or payment card field are always skipped. • Pause it for an hour, or never add a site again, from the toolbar button. Never adding a site also removes what was already added from it. What you stay in control of • Disconnect the browser from Sources at any time. • Remove anything it added under Added so far, export everything as JSON, or delete your account and all of it. • Your data is used only for your own earcue: not sold, not used for ads.
