Overview
Learn Chinese and Spanish from YouTube: Jide subtitles with pinyin and English, tap any word, save it to your Jide flashcards.
Learn Chinese and Spanish from the YouTube videos you already watch. Jide puts its own subtitles on any YouTube video with Chinese or Spanish captions: the line you hear, pinyin above every Chinese word, and English underneath. • Tap any word to see its meaning, level (HSK or A1–C2) and other meanings, from the same dictionary as the Jide Languages app. • Spanish verbs find their dictionary form: fui → ir, compré → comprar. • Press + Add to save the word to your “From watching” flashcard deck. You choose whether to keep the line you heard as its example sentence, with a link back to that moment in the video. • Replay or slow down the last line, pause after each line, or hide the text for a listening test. • See the words you saved while watching, and jump back to where you heard them. You need a Jide Languages account (jidelanguages.com) to save words. Jide Languages is in private beta, so new accounts join a short waitlist. The extension never changes your study progress. It only adds the words you choose, and the Jide app adds them to your deck the next time you open it.
