Voice Typing
Overview
Adds a microphone button to every text box. Click it and talk instead of typing.
Hate typing? Just talk. Voice Typing adds a small microphone button to the text box you're in, on any website. Click it, speak, and your words are typed where your cursor is. Click it again, or press Esc, to stop. • Works on most websites: email, social media, forms, search boxes, chat and more • Say "period", "comma", "question mark", "exclamation mark", "new line" or "new paragraph" to add punctuation • Capital letters and spaces are added for you • Ctrl+Z undoes what was typed • Free, with no account, no ads and no tracking How to use it: 1. Click into any text box 2. Click the blue microphone at the right edge 3. Allow the microphone the first time Chrome asks 4. Talk. The button turns red while it listens Voice Typing uses the speech recognition built into Google Chrome, so it needs an internet connection. Tip for Google Docs: Docs has its own voice typing. Use Tools → Voice typing, or press Ctrl+Shift+S. By DM2
