Overview
Detects the address on real-estate listings (Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com & more) and opens the neighborhood Almanac — 200+ metrics.
each.place puts a full neighborhood Almanac one click away while you browse listings. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a listing on one of the supported sites. 2. Click the Neighborhood Almanac chip by the address. 3. Read the report in a drawer, right on the page. Anywhere else — an email, a search result, a PDF — just select an address, right-click, and choose "Look up on each.place." It opens in a new tab. No extra permission needed. WORKS ON Zillow, Redfin, Realtor.com, Trulia, Apartments.com, and Homes.com. When you install, Chrome shows a standard permission listing these sites, so the chip appears automatically — nothing to turn on. (The right-click lookup works on any page and needs no site access.) WHY IT'S DIFFERENT It reads the real listing data on the page (not just the headline), confirms the address, and skips listings where the address is withheld, undisclosed, or outside the United States — so the chip only appears when there's a real neighborhood to look up. Every number links back to a public source: U.S. Census (ACS), FBI, NCES, FEMA, CDC, BLS, BEA, OpenStreetMap, and more. No private listing APIs. No black-box scores you can't see behind. YOUR PRIVACY Nothing about a listing leaves your browser while you browse. The address is sent to each.place only when you click the chip — never before, and never in the background — and only to return that neighborhood's report. It is never sold or shared. The extension itself contains no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no advertising. When the Almanac drawer is open, the each.place page inside it uses the same standard, cookieless analytics as our website. The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
