E-lab Evidence Capture is a tool designed for authorized users to document web content and create structured evidence packages. The extension allows users to capture visible content, full pages, or recordings during an investigation session initiated by the user. All collected data is processed locally and exported directly to the user’s device. The extension does not monitor browsing activity in the background. Key features: - Capture visible and full-page screenshots - Record screen activity - Generate structured logs and navigation records - Export evidence files with integrity verification (SHA-256) External network requests are used only for optional time reference checks to support audit consistency.
