Dynamic Element Hider
Overview
Inject custom JS into specific domains to hide elements.
Dynamic Element Hider is a lightweight developer tool designed to help you clean up the web. Whether you are a developer testing DOM manipulations or a power user trying to remove annoying sidebars, banners, or sticky headers, this extension lets you inject custom JavaScript automatically on the websites you choose. Unlike heavy ad-blockers, this tool gives you granular control. You write the script; you pick the domain. Key Features: Domain-Specific Rules: Set scripts to run only on specific websites (e.g., example.com). Persistent Storage: Your scripts are saved locally and run automatically every time you visit the site. Lightweight & Fast: Uses Chrome's scripting API for minimal performance impact. Developer Friendly: Perfect for saving document.querySelector(...).remove() snippets for sites you visit frequently. How to Use: Navigate to the website you want to modify. Click the Dynamic Element Hider icon. Enter the domain name (e.g., stackoverflow.com). Paste your JavaScript code (e.g., document.querySelector('.ads').remove();). Click Save. The script will now run automatically whenever you visit that domain!
