Overview

Prevents duplicate tabs by switching to an already-open matching tab and closing the extra copy.

No Tab Twice - Duplicate D helps prevent duplicate browser tabs. When you open a link that matches a page already open in Chrome, the extension closes the new duplicate tab and takes you back to the existing tab. It is useful for everyday work links such as Jira tickets, pull requests, documentation pages, email links, Slack links, and normal websites. Features: - Detects duplicate tabs automatically. - Switches to the existing matching tab. - Closes the new duplicate tab. - Provides a popup button to check all open tabs. - Lets you pause duplicate detection. - Lets you allow duplicates for selected URL patterns using * wildcards. - Runs locally in Chrome. Privacy: The extension compares open tab URLs locally in Chrome. It does not request the history permission, does not use chrome.history, and does not send URLs to a server. Settings are stored locally using Chrome extension storage. No account is required.
