Duplicate Tab Killer
Overview
Tab organizer: auto-close duplicate tabs and group the rest into sessions you can open, manage, and close in one click.
Keep your tab bar under control. Duplicate Tab Killer is a lightweight tab organizer with one job: stop tab clutter. It does that two ways that work together. FIND & CLOSE DUPLICATES • See a live count of duplicate tabs on the toolbar icon. • Close them all in one click — the oldest copy of each page is kept. • Optional auto-close: duplicates are removed the moment they appear. • Open a page you already have? You're taken to the existing tab instead of getting a second copy. ORGANIZE TABS INTO SESSIONS • Group the tabs you use together (work, research, a class) into named sessions backed by native Chrome tab groups. • Drag tabs into a session — or between sessions — right from the popup. • Start a session to bundle its tabs; End it to close them all at once. • Set an auto-close time so a session cleans itself up if you forget. • When you open a new tab, optionally choose which session it belongs to — or just keep browsing. STAY TIDY • Get an optional reminder about tabs you haven't touched in 3+ hours, with one click to keep or close them. • A "Recently closed" log shows what was closed and why. Everything runs locally. No accounts, no tracking, no data leaves your browser.
