Overview

Scan a page for form fields and fill only the ones you pick with realistic, validation-safe dummy data. 100% offline.

Test any form in seconds, without typing fake data by hand. DummyDrop scans the page you are on, lists every form field it finds, and fills only the fields you tick with realistic dummy data that passes validation. It is built for developers, QA engineers and anyone who signs up for things a lot. How it works Click the DummyDrop icon (or press Alt+Shift+F). See every field with its detected type and a confidence indicator. Hover a row to outline the field on the page; hover a field on the page to find its row. Tick what you want and press Fill selected, or use Fill all. Undo restores the exact previous values. Fills like a real person DummyDrop sets values the way a browser does and fires the focus, input, change and blur events, so forms built with React or Vue register what was filled. It never submits a form. Valid data, every time Names, usernames, emails, phone numbers, pincodes, addresses, dates, passwords, card test numbers (Luhn-valid), Aadhaar-style numbers (Verhoeff checksum), PAN-style numbers, GSTIN, IFSC, bank accounts, long text and more. One consistent identity per fill, so name, username, email and phone belong together, and city, state and pincode agree. It respects maxlength, minlength, pattern, min, max, step and required, and when no valid value can fit a field it skips it and tells you why instead of filling junk. Works where forms really are Iframes, open shadow DOM, and forms that appear after the page loads. Dropdowns, radio groups, checkboxes, dates, times and rich-text editors are all supported. For iframes served by other sites (such as payment widgets), DummyDrop asks for access to just those sites when you click Allow access. Yours to control Choose per field type: generated dummy data, your own saved values, or a random pick from them Named profiles ("Test User 1", "Client Demo") that fill a whole identity in one click, plus a fill-all shortcut (Alt+Shift+G) India by default, with US, UK, Canada and Australia locales Safe email domains by default (example.com, example.org, test.com) Site block/allow lists, light/dark themes, import and export as JSON Optional "always-on" sites you choose, so you don't have to click the icon again on sites you use a lot Optional side panel: keep DummyDrop open beside the page while you click around Optional floating window: a draggable icon opens a movable window that fades while you point at a field, so the field behind it stays visible Safe by design Card fields use well-known test numbers only, with a one-time warning Sign-in and banking-login fields are never touched unless you tick them yourself Everything runs on your device. No account, no analytics, no network calls, no remote code Free to use. Works on Chrome, Edge and Brave.
