Dugga Assessment Helper Extension DESIGNED FOR DUGGA CHROMEBOOK KIOSK MODE This extension is specifically designed for schools and educational institutions using Dugga on managed Chromebooks in kiosk mode. It ensures that external links embedded in Dugga exams remain within the controlled iframe environment, preventing them from taking over the entire screen and disrupting the exam session. WHAT IT DOES When teachers include external links in Dugga exams (such as reference materials, videos, or supplementary resources), some websites attempt to break out of the exam iframe or prevent being displayed inside embedded frames. This can disrupt the exam flow and user experience. This extension helps maintain the intended exam layout by: • Converting target="_top" and target="_blank" attributes to target="_self" within iframes • Preventing JavaScript-based attempts to navigate the parent or top window • Blocking certain AMP navigation behaviors that attempt to escape the iframe • Monitoring dynamically added content to ensure consistent behavior • Adjusting specific response headers so that external web pages can render within iframe contexts in a controlled kiosk environment This ensures students remain within the Dugga exam interface while still being able to access teacher-approved external resources.
