Dualscan™ Share
Overview
Save USB folders to GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket and transfer pinned backups, with integrity and original app/layout protection.
Dualscan™ Share moves files between user-selected USB folders and Git repositories with exact relative paths and integrity evidence. SAVE USB TO GIT Connect a GitHub, GitLab.com or Bitbucket Cloud account using a session-only access token. Select a readable USB folder, inspect its files, and save an explicitly authorized snapshot to a new repository branch. Ordinary USB folders do not need Smart Switch or OEM files. Add separate folder grants for multiple drives. The extension never modifies the source USB folder or force-pushes existing branches. Large files use Git LFS. Review any required .gitattributes additions and approve exact provider-designated storage hosts before upload. Reports distinguish Git file-identity checks and LFS server object confirmation from independent large-binary read-back. Account tokens, signed upload URLs and storage credentials are excluded from reports. TRANSFER A PINNED REPOSITORY TO USB The default source is https://github.com/sacs2cd-web/dualscan-os. Pin a full commit, resolve LFS pointers to actual binary files, and transfer the complete tracked repository directly into the folder you select. No enclosing repository folder or ZIP wrapper is copied. Backup-manifest hashes and sizes are checked when available; the default Dualscan backup requires BACKUP_SHA256.json. Existing different files block writing. Written files are read back before verified completion. Pause/resume, cancellation, bounded retries and local checkpoints support recovery. CONNECT AN EXISTING SMART SWITCH BACKUP Discover nested package roots, select one snapshot, inspect its SSS Folder ID, and map encrypted .enc restore payloads to separate loose APK installers. Both SmartSwitchBackupInf.bk and APKFILE/AppList.bk are checked. Source Backup directories are excluded from this inventory flow. APK versions shown are catalog references, not verified versions of selected or encrypted files. The extension does not install APKs or launch a device restore. PROTECT ORIGINAL APP AND LAYOUT FILES Choose an original Dualscan image as a local hash baseline. Smart Switch derivative saves must retain the protected original core app and launcher configuration bytes; missing or changed protected files block saving, while additional files are allowed. Opaque Samsung homescreen.exml data is preserved rather than decoded or reordered. This does not certify icon coordinates, licensing rights or successful Samsung restoration. DESKTOP CHROME REQUIRED Use Chrome 132 or newer and grant access through its directory picker. Chrome cannot enumerate every mounted drive automatically, prove USB-C hardware identity, measure drive free space, preserve original filesystem ACLs/timestamps, or certify hardware durability. Keep the page open, the drive connected, and the selected folder idle. Repository-to-USB downloads support public GitHub sources. USB-to-Git saves support the three authenticated destinations above. Provider quotas, token scopes and repository policies apply. No ads, analytics, publisher-operated relay or automatic report uploads. Privacy policy and support information are provided in this listing. Samsung and Smart Switch identify the backup ecosystem and do not imply sponsorship or certification.
