Dual-Column Reader for X
Overview
Browse X Home, search, profiles, and notifications on the left while reading posts and conversations on the right.
Browse X and read posts side by side in a single Chrome tab. Select a regular post from Home, search results, or a profile to open the full post and replies on the right. Selecting another post replaces only the right pane, keeping the left page and its scroll position in place. • The right pane stays hidden until you select a post. • Drag the divider to resize the panes; your preference is saved locally. • Search on the left and keep the results there. • Open a reply or a like on your reply from Notifications to see the parent post and conversation position on the right. • The right pane displays X's own post page, including replies and site interactions. • Images, videos, profile links, and Ctrl-click or middle-click retain X's usual behavior. Works on desktop Chrome at x.com when the browser content area is at least 1500 pixels wide. Changes to X's page structure may require an extension update. This independent browser extension is not made, endorsed, or sponsored by X. The developer does not receive post content. The enabled state, pane width, and currently viewed post URL remain in local browser storage. Browsing and interaction with X are handled by X itself.
