Drey is a non-custodial Bitcoin and Ordinals wallet for Chrome and Brave. Know what leaves. Drey makes the recipient, amount, network fee, transaction intent, protected sats, and site permissions visible before your wallet signs. Create or restore an encrypted local software wallet, receive and send Bitcoin, review activity, manage eligible UTXOs, and view or transfer supported Ordinals. Protected-sats review separates ordinary Bitcoin from outputs carrying detected inscriptions or special sats before transaction approval. Sites receive no account information or signing authority before explicit approval. Drey does not automatically upload analytics, crash reports, browsing history, support bundles, or wallet activity exports. Recovery words, private keys, and wallet passwords remain on your device. Drey uses the Squirrel Systems hosted gateway for signed service status, public blockchain discovery, fee estimates, classifications, transaction broadcast, prices, and bounded inscription information. Gateway data is signature-verified and cannot add executable code or signing policy. Important: Drey is self-custody software. Keep an offline backup of your recovery words. Squirrel Systems cannot recover a lost wallet and will never ask you to send recovery words, private keys, or wallet passwords.
