Overview
Look up drayage rates and build & send freight quotes — right beside the page you're working on.
Drayrates puts drayage pricing and quoting in your browser side panel — price a lane, then quote it, without leaving the page you're working on. Drayrates is a rate-and-quote tool for freight brokers. It does two things that go together as one workflow: RATE LOOKUP Enter an origin and destination to get a drayage rate for the lane. Or click Scan to read the page you're on — a load board, a rate sheet, a TMS screen, or an email — and pull the lanes out of it automatically, so you don't have to retype addresses. You can also right-click a highlighted address or lane and send it straight to Drayrates. QUOTING Turn any lane you've priced into a customer quote. Drayrates builds the quote — line items, accessorials, validity, and a branded PDF — and lets you deliver it in a couple of clicks. SEND QUOTES FROM YOUR OWN INBOX (OPTIONAL) If you connect a mailbox in the Drayrates web app, you can send a quote by email directly from the side panel — and when you're quoting from a Gmail thread, Drayrates can reply in that same thread so the conversation stays together. This email delivery is an optional part of the quoting feature (powered by our email partner, Unipile); Drayrates is not a standalone email client, and everything works without it. HOW IT FITS YOUR DAY • Works as a side panel next to any tab, and shows a quick-access button inside Gmail and Outlook. • Scanning only runs when you click Scan — never automatically — and the first time you scan a site, Drayrates tells you exactly what will be read before anything is sent. • Sign in once with your Drayrates account. Drayrates is a companion to the Drayrates web platform: searches and quotes you create here are saved to your account and are also available in the web app. WHO IT'S FOR Freight brokers and drayage teams who price lanes and send quotes all day and want both in one place. PERMISSIONS & PRIVACY Drayrates signs you in with your Drayrates account and stores your session locally in your browser; the searches and quotes you create are saved to your Drayrates account and visible in the Drayrates web app. When you click Scan, the visible text of the current page is sent to our backend and to OpenAI to parse freight lanes — this only happens on your click, and the first time you scan a site you're shown what will be read before anything is sent. Inside Gmail and Outlook, Drayrates shows a quick-access button. On Gmail, when you scan an email thread it also reads that thread's metadata (subject, sender, message id) so a quote can reply in-thread. If you choose to connect a mailbox, quotes are delivered from your own inbox through our email partner (Unipile). Drayrates does not sell your data and does not use it for advertising.
