Overview
Turn selected websites grayscale to reduce visual noise, protect your attention, and interrupt doomscrolling.
The web is built to grab your attention. Bright thumbnails, colorful badges, and endless feeds can make it easy to forget why you opened a site or how long you've been scrolling. Drain removes color from selected websites, Draining the dopamine out and helping you reduce distraction, doom scrolling, and focus your attention in better places. You choose where Drain runs. Add any sites you want, and Drain will automatically quiet them when you visit. Need color for a map, chart, photo, or purchase? Temporarily bypass Drain on the current tab, or pause it entirely without losing your site list. Optional private statistics show how often Drain activates and how much time you spend on drained sites. Pause them at any time or erase them permanently. Drain does not block websites, lock you out, or claim to treat a medical condition. It simply gives you a quieter visual environment when distraction starts taking over.
