Overview

Drag files straight out of New Outlook into Chrome in one motion, no saving the file first. Works with the DragIn1 desktop helper.

Drag it. Drop it. Done. DragIn1 lets you pull an attachment straight out of New Outlook and drop it right onto an upload box on a web page, in a single motion. No saving the file to your Downloads folder first, no hunting for it in a second window, no extra clicks. New Outlook is built on the same technology as Chrome, and because of that, files you drag out of it often get quietly stripped before a web page can see them, so the drop silently does nothing. DragIn1 fixes exactly that. The moment you drag an attachment, its companion desktop helper captures the file locally, and this extension hands it to the web page's uploader as a normal file, so the upload just works. WHAT YOU GET Drag an attachment from New Outlook onto any web upload box and it uploads. One natural motion. No saving, no download folder, no second app window. It stays completely out of the way for everything else you drag. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything happens on your own PC. The file you drag is never uploaded to us or sent to any server, and this extension talks only to the small DragIn1 helper running locally on your machine. It collects no data and has no accounts. FREE, NO SUBSCRIPTION DragIn1 is a free desktop helper plus this extension. There is nothing to pay, now or monthly. WHAT YOU NEED Windows with New Outlook. The free DragIn1 desktop helper installed (your administrator provides the installer). The extension needs the helper to hand it the dragged file; on its own it does nothing. HOW TO SET UP Run the DragIn1 installer your administrator shared (one double-click). It adds a small tray app that starts with Windows. Add this extension. Reload the web page you upload to, then drag an attachment from New Outlook onto its upload box. A note on permissions: the extension asks to read and change data on the sites you use so it can place the dragged file into whatever web uploader you drop it onto, and it uses native messaging to receive that file from the local helper. It does not read your browsing or send anything anywhere. Made by WildTech Development.
