Draft Rescue — Never Lose What You Typed
Overview
Auto save what you write in web forms so a crash, misclick or logout can't erase it. 100% offline, nothing ever leaves your computer
You write something long into a web form — a bug report, a job application, a considered reply — and it vanishes. A crash, an accidental back-navigation, a session timeout that logs you out on submit. Everyone has lost writing this way, and browsers do nothing about it. Draft Rescue keeps a local copy as you type (about a second after you pause, plus on tab-hide and page-unload — the moments text actually disappears). Later, when you click into an empty field that has a saved copy, a small chip appears beside it: "Draft saved 4 min ago — Restore." One click and it's back. The vault page, on Alt+Shift+D, holds everything, searchable.
