It's a fast, calm helper for parents teaching reading at home, early-years teachers, and anyone learning to read English. Type a word — or right-click any word on a page and choose "Sound out …" — and you'll instantly see it split into color-coded sound tiles. WHAT YOU GET • Tap-to-hear sounds. Every word is broken into the 42 Jolly Phonics sounds. Tap a tile to hear that sound and see how to say it — mouth and tongue tips, the classic Jolly Phonics action, the IPA symbol, example words, and other common spellings for the same sound. • Hear the whole word. One tap reads the full word in a British English voice. • A big curated word list. Hundreds of fully decodable words come with hand-checked sound breakdowns, so common words are always split correctly — not just guessed. • Smart segmentation for the rest. Words outside the list are broken down automatically, including tricky patterns like the silent "magic e" (these → th · e_e · s, cake → c · a_e · k). • Tricky words flagged.
