Simple Surf — Save This Page
Overview
Save the page you're on to your Simple Surf Board, with its title, a section and a note.
Simple Surf is a link manager that lives in your browser: every link on one Board, one or two clicks away, and found instantly by typing. This extension saves the page you are on to that Board. How it works • Click the Simple Surf button, press Ctrl+Shift+S (Command+Shift+S on a Mac), or right-click the page and choose "Save this page to Simple Surf". A small panel shows the page's title and address, the sections of your own Board, and a note filled with any text you highlighted. • Change anything you like and press Save to My Board. The link is saved in that one press, whether your Board is open or not, and the panel tells you where it went. If your Board is not open, it opens briefly behind the page you are reading and closes again once the link is saved. • Changed your mind? Remove It, right after saving, takes that link back. Show It opens your Board. • Right-click any link and choose "Save this link to Simple Surf" to save it at once. • Type surf and a space in your browser's address bar, then a word, and your Board opens with that word already searched. Press Enter to open the best match. • Alt+Shift+S (Control+Shift+S on a Mac) saves the page at once, without the panel, to the section you saved to last. • A tick on the toolbar button confirms each save. • If the link is already on your Board, or your Board is full, your Board opens and asks you first. • If you use more than one Board in this browser, the panel lets you choose which one. What it does not do • On other websites it reads nothing until you ask it to save a page or a link, and then only that tab's address, its title and, in the panel, any text you highlighted. • On simplesurf.ai it notes the names of your Board's sections, so the panel can offer them. It never reads or copies your links. • It sends nothing to us and nothing to anyone else. It hands the link to your Board inside your browser, and your Board saves it just as if you had added it yourself. • It does not ask to read your browsing history, and it does not ask for access to other websites. • The extension itself keeps no count of what you do and reports it to no one. The Board it opens counts a visit the way every Simple Surf page does, as the Privacy Policy describes. • It shows no advertising. A free Board lives in your own browser and holds up to 500 links. Simple Surf Pro syncs your Board to your own address at simplesurf.ai and raises the limit to 10,000 links. Privacy policy: https://simplesurf.ai/privacy/
