Ambient Light for YouTube

Adds an ambient glow around YouTube videos that follows the colors of the picture.

Ambient Light for YouTube adds a soft glow around the video that follows the colors on screen, like a bias-lit TV. FEATURES • Glow around the player in normal, theater and fullscreen modes • In fullscreen, the glow fills the black bars around videos that don't match your screen's shape. This looks great with widescreen films and ultrawide monitors • Keeps working when you move on to the next video, with no reload • Adjust the brightness, how far the glow spreads, color saturation, and how smoothly the colors change • Can hide YouTube's own ambient mode so the two don't overlap • Menu in English and Thai HOW TO USE Open any YouTube video. Click the extension's icon in the toolbar to turn the glow on or off and to change the settings. PRIVACY The extension runs only on www.youtube.com, and everything happens inside your browser. It collects no data, sends nothing anywhere, and has no ads or analytics. Your settings are saved locally by Chrome. This extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google. Screenshots show "Spring" and "Cosmos Laundromat" by Blender Studio (CC BY 4.0).
