Downly
Overview
Rename any download before it saves, and add today's date, time, or the source site in one tap. No more messy Downloads folder.
Downly adds a one-second review step the moment you download a file, so you never end up with "document(3).pdf" again. Right before the file saves, a small popup lets you: - Rename it to something you'll actually recognize later. - Add today's date, the time, or the source website to the name with a single tap. - Optionally create a folder to drop it into, right inside your Downloads. Prefer the original? Click "Keep original," or just ignore the popup and the download continues as normal. Nothing is forced. Made for people who download all day: - Designers — turn "export-final(2).png" into "Homepage-Hero-v3". - Developers — "api-spec_29-Jul-2026" instead of "download.pdf". - Researchers & students — file papers by topic and date as they land. - Lawyers & accountants — "Invoice-AcmeCorp-Q4" the moment it saves. - Anyone who's ever lost a file in a cluttered Downloads folder. Private by design: no accounts, no tracking, and nothing ever leaves your computer.
