Dotdash - Tab Organizer

)Overview
Bring open tabs together by website. Find pages, switch tabs, and review duplicates—all on your device.
Dotdash, previously called Orbit, brings the tabs open across your Chrome windows into one clear, website-based overview. Find a page, return to it, or review duplicates without hunting through a crowded tab strip. Privacy at a glance: Dotdash reads current tab titles, URLs, recent-access information, and tab/window state locally to organize your tabs. Tab information stays in the overview's runtime memory and is not sent to the developer or third-party services. Only language and appearance preferences are saved locally. The new name and logo do not change these data practices or add permissions. See each website's icon, name, tab count, and full page list without expanding groups. Search by page title, website name, or URL, then click a result to return to its original tab and window. Sort websites by tab count, recent activity, or name. Review duplicate URLs and choose which eligible copies to close. Bulk cleanup keeps pinned, active, audio-playing, and loading tabs, and checks their state again before closing. You can also close individual tabs directly. Pages with the same URL can still contain different unsaved work, so check before closing. Bulk protections do not apply to an individual row's close button. The overview updates as tabs and windows change. Refresh the list manually when needed; if a refresh fails, the previous list remains available and you can retry. Refresh reads tabs on this device—it is not cloud synchronization. The interface supports English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. It starts with a supported language from your browser preferences, with English as the fallback, and remembers your manual choice. Page titles remain in their original language. Light and dark appearance follow the browser by default; use the sun or moon button to switch and save your preference locally. Privacy and permissions Dotdash does not read page bodies, form inputs, passwords, cookies, or the full browsing-history database. It has no account system, backend server, advertising, analytics, or telemetry service. It does not inject content scripts into websites. The tabs permission supplies the open-tab information needed for the overview, search, and duplicate detection. The favicon permission displays website icons through Chrome's own interface, not a third-party icon service. Scripts, styles, translations, and fallback icons are bundled with the extension. After installing, pin Dotdash from Chrome's Extensions menu and click its icon to open the overview. This is the same extension previously named Orbit; the brand update does not require installing a separate product. Existing language and appearance preferences are retained when the existing extension is updated. Dotdash is open source under the MIT license. Website names and logos belong to their respective owners; their display does not imply affiliation with those brands.
