Doomless: Block & Limit Shorts and Reels

Doomless blocks or limits YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok and other short-form video feeds, without blocking the websites themselves. Stop doomscrolling without deleting apps or giving up the content you actually came for. Don't lose the website. Lose the endless scroll. Set how many short videos you watch or how long you spend on them. When you reach your limit, Doomless pauses the video and covers only the short-video player. Subscriptions, search, regular videos, posts, stories and messages keep working as usual. CONTROL HOW YOU SCROLL • Video limit: watch up to a set number of short videos per day or per session (10 by default). • Session timer: limit each scrolling session (for example, to 15 minutes), then take a break before the feed opens again. • Daily time budget: total minutes per day across all short-video feeds. Resets at midnight. • Swipe Lock: finish the current video, but prevent scrolling to the next one with the mouse wheel, arrow keys, touch gestures or on-screen controls. • On-page counter: see how many videos and minutes you have left. Drag it anywhere. TURN SHORT VIDEOS OFF COMPLETELY • Blackout mode closes the short-video feed on the sites you choose. • Hide the Shorts section from the menu and home page, or open Shorts links in the regular video player. • Hide the Reels tab, close the TikTok "For You" feed, hide VK Clips from the menu. STAY ON TRACK • Mindful pause: get 2 extra videos or 5 extra minutes only after a 19-second breathing exercise or typing a short phrase by hand. Pasting is disabled. You can also turn extra time off entirely. • Hardcore mode: loosening a limit or turning protection off takes a 60-second wait. Tightening is instant. • Grayscale mode: short videos play in black and white, so they grab less attention.
