This extension gets rid of Google's ugly (tracking) URL. This speeds up loading search results and allows you to normally copy links. Source code: https://github.com/Rob--W/dont-track-me-google Firefox addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/dont-track-me-google1/ Available since 2011. As of version 4.30 (September 2026), the extension may request the URL behind Google's new /goto URLs in order to reveal the real URL. To disable this feature, visit the options page and toggle the option "Never request the real URL from Google (/goto URLs stay unreadable)". As of version 4.23 (January 2021), link tracking via the "ping" attribute is disabled by default. This prevents Google from tracking your link clicks. If you want Google to track your link clicks, visit the options page to disable this feature.
