DON'T BREAK MY APP
Overview
Regression testing for people who don't know regression testing.
DON'T BREAK MY APP helps you catch accidental regressions after making changes to a website or web app with AI. If you use AI or vibe coding to build and edit web apps, a small change can sometimes break something that was already working. Save a working version of the page before making a change. When you're done, run a check and the extension compares the current page with your saved baseline. It can identify likely problems such as: • Elements that were visible before but are now hidden • Broken images • Disabled buttons • Important controls covered by other elements • Changed link destinations • Duplicate headings • Significant unexpected layout changes Unlike traditional regression testing tools, DON'T BREAK MY APP does not require you to write or maintain test code. It is designed to make basic web app testing simple while you build and iterate with AI. The extension separates likely regressions from ordinary changes, so an intentional edit is not automatically treated as something broken. The core comparison runs locally in your browser. Optional anonymous product analytics are opt-in and are not required to use the extension. DON'T BREAK MY APP is currently in Public Beta. Results may require human review on highly dynamic pages, animations, or unusual layouts.
