Dominus blocks the sites that pull you away — and makes going back to them cost something. Not a wall. A gate you have to mean to open. WHAT IT DOES Block a site from the toolbar, or switch on a category and block a dozen at once. Social media, video, gaming — or categories you build yourself, with whatever belongs in them. When you land on something you have blocked, Dominus stops you and shows you what you are about to give up: the streak you are carrying, and what this unlock will cost the next one. You can stay focused, or you can pay the toll. WHAT AN UNLOCK COSTS You decide, in advance, while you are thinking clearly. A cooldown you have to sit through. A passage you have to type out. Or a Guarded Code — generated once, shown once, for you to write down and leave in another room. Getting past your own gate means getting up and fetching it. Unlock the same site twice in a day and the wait gets longer. There is a ceiling on that, on purpose: friction is the point, being locked out of your own machine is not. ONE WINDOW The Keep opens on where you stand right now — today's standing, your streaks, what is blocked, and any gate you have left open with the time still running on it. The Fortress is where you decide what is blocked and what it costs. The Campaign is your record: victory rate, both streaks, and a year of history one square per day — held, slipped, or untested, because a day nothing asked anything of you is not a day you won. THE SEAL A password on anything that weakens your fortress. Blocking a site, lengthening a cooldown, raising your standards — always free. Taking a defence down asks for the seal first, and names exactly what you are about to lose before it does. Forget it and there is an hour's wait to lift it. There is no master code and no back door. KEEP A COPY Export your whole fortress to a file, and import it back on another machine or after a reinstall. Importing merges rather than overwrites: it can never take a defence down, and running it twice does nothing the second time. HONESTLY This is a pause, not a lock. Anyone sitting at your machine can switch Dominus off from Chrome's extensions page, and no password inside an extension can change that. What it defends against is you at 11pm, reaching for something without quite deciding to. It is built for someone who chose the constraint. Not for locking down someone who is fighting to get out. YOUR DATA Everything stays in your browser. No account, no server, no analytics, nothing sent anywhere — which is also why the export exists: a copy you make yourself is the only thing that survives a reinstall.
