Domain Tab Grouper
Overview
Automatically organizes and groups your open tabs by their website domains to keep your browser tidy.
Domain Tab Grouper is a clean, modern, and lightweight productivity extension designed to instantly declutter your browser window. If you are a heavy multitasker with dozens of open tabs, finding the exact page you need can be frustrating. This extension solves that problem with a single click. It scans your active window, identifies tabs belonging to the same website, and automatically organizes them into Chrome's native, color-coded Tab Groups. For maximum neatness, it even collapses the groups automatically, freeing up valuable space on your tab bar. Key Features: One-Click Organization: Instantly group tabs sharing the same domain (e.g., all YouTube tabs in one group, all Wikipedia tabs in another). Smart Auto-Collapse: Newly created groups are automatically collapsed to immediately save space on your tab bar. Intelligent Filtering: Only groups domains that have two or more active tabs, leaving single tabs untouched. It also safely ignores system pages (like chrome:// URLs) and pinned tabs. Quick Ungroup: A dedicated button allows you to instantly dissolve all groups and return your tabs to their normal state. Modern Interface: A minimalist, user-friendly popup that gets straight to the point. How to Use: Click the extension icon in your browser toolbar. Click "Group Tabs by Domain" to instantly organize your current window. To reverse the action, open the extension again and click "Ungroup All Tabs".
