)Overview
Quickly switch between environments (dev, staging, QA, production) while preserving URL paths
Domain Swapper Pro is the essential tool for web developers who work across multiple environments. Switch between development, staging, QA, and production in one click — your URL path stays intact. HOW IT WORKS 1. Save your environment domains (e.g., localhost:3000, staging.example.com, app.example.com) 2. Browse to any page on one environment 3. Click a different domain — you're instantly taken to the same page on that environment Example: You're on staging.example.com/dashboard/users/123 — click "Production" and you're at example.com/dashboard/users/123. Query strings and URL fragments are preserved too. KEY FEATURES Domain Management - Add domains with custom labels (e.g., "My Dev Server" for localhost:3000) - Per-domain protocol control: preserve current protocol, force HTTPS, or force HTTP - Full support for custom ports (localhost:3000, 192.168.1.1:8080) - Supports standard domains, IP addresses, and localhost variants Organization - Group domains into folders with custom emoji icons - Create nested subfolders for complex project structures - Drag-and-drop reordering for domains and folders - Collapsible folders to keep your workspace clean - Pre-configured folders for Development, Staging/QA, and Production Quick Access - Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+D to open popup, Alt+Shift+D for instant swap to last used domain - Right-click context menu on any page or link for quick domain swapping - Fuzzy search to find domains instantly as your list grows Settings & Sync - Light, Dark, and System theme modes - Global "Force HTTPS" toggle for all swaps - Import/Export configuration as JSON for backup or sharing with your team - Optional Chrome Sync to share your setup across multiple browsers/devices USE CASES - Frontend developers switching between local dev server and deployed environments - QA engineers testing the same page across staging and production - DevOps teams comparing behavior between different deployments - Full-stack developers juggling multiple microservices on different ports PRIVACY All data is stored locally on your device. No data is ever collected, tracked, or transmitted to external servers. Only minimal browser permissions are requested (active tab, local storage, context menus).
