Tell Ownfeed what you want. It filters X, explains each choice, and learns from your corrections.

Make X feel like your feed again. Ownfeed helps you filter posts and replies, find relevant content, and correct what your personal Agent understands about you. Data and privacy Ownfeed reads the text and basic metadata of posts and replies shown in X tabs where it runs. After you sign in, content needed for filtering and recommendations, your feedback, Agent conversations, and your correctable Workspace are sent over HTTPS to your isolated Ownfeed Cloud account. Agent requests are processed through OpenRouter-selected model providers. Ownfeed does not sell your data or use it for advertising. Discovery uses a short-lived X search tab and your existing browser session to read rendered search results. Automatic discovery is on by default while X is foreground and can be switched off. An explicit recommendation request can run within a bounded window even when X is not foreground. Search queries are sent to X; normalized result posts are sent to your cloud Agent for selection. This does not extract or upload X Cookies. History import is optional. If you start initialization, Chrome asks for optional Cookie access. Ownfeed reads your X session values in memory, immediately releases that permission, and uses those values inside the browser for one read-only import of up to 200 recent Likes and 200 Bookmarks. Cookie values, tokens, and request headers are never uploaded. Only validated, normalized post content is sent to your Ownfeed account. You can skip history import and start using Ownfeed. Sharing at sign-in The sign-in screen names usage statistics and AI-processed conversations, posts, and preference text. Its single "Agree and log in with X" action enables both product analytics and AI diagnostics after authentication succeeds. Failed or cancelled authentication grants nothing. There is no first-sign-in skip-sharing action. After signing in, you can turn either collection off independently in Settings > Data & privacy and continue using Ownfeed. Showing the screen, restoring a session, or upgrading does not grant consent or re-enable an option; a later explicit agreement is new consent. Product analytics sends limited feature-use and request-outcome events to PostHog (US) under a pseudonymous account reference. These events contain no posts, searches, chat text, credentials, or session recordings. This choice applies to the signed-in account and browser and resets on sign-in or sign-out; the explicit agreement enables it after successful authentication. AI diagnostics sends new AI inputs and responses, posts and Workspace preference context used in model calls, and tool arguments and results to PostHog (US), along with model, token, cost, and timing information, for troubleshooting and improving Ownfeed's AI features. Ordinary AI content stays readable and can contain personal information included in the model context. Credential filtering and size limits apply; Cookies, authentication headers, and session recordings are not sent. This choice applies across your account and survives sign-out until revoked. AI content follows PostHog's current 30-day AI-content retention; usage events and small metadata follow project retention settings. Turning sharing off or clearing product data does not erase earlier PostHog records. See the privacy policy for scope, retention, access, and deletion requests.
