Kinesin PCRS Client

Performs mTLS SOAP calls to PCRS on behalf of the Kinesin webapp.

For GP practices using the Kinesin practice management system. The HSE Primary Care Reimbursement Service (PCRS) only accepts connections that present the practice's PCRS client certificate. This extension makes those connections from the practice's own browser, so Kinesin can: • check a patient's eligibility under a PCRS scheme (medical card, GP visit card, EHIC); • look up a patient's Chronic Disease Management (CDM / OCF / PP) programme status. The extension has no interface of its own. It works in the background and only acts when the Kinesin practice system (kinesin.health) asks it to, and it only connects to PCRS (sspcrs.ie). Requirements: • a Kinesin account issued by your practice; • your practice's PCRS client certificate installed on the computer; • your practice's PCRS login for CDM lookups. Nothing is stored except the PCRS session token, which is held in memory and cleared when the browser closes. No tracking, analytics or advertising.
