Rename any open tab and give it an emoji icon, so a row of identical tabs becomes something you can scan at a glance. Pick a tab, type a title, choose an emoji. That's it. Handy for telling twenty Google Docs apart, labelling a work queue, or making a tab less conspicuous on a shared screen. CHOOSE HOW LONG IT LASTS - This tab: the customization disappears when you close the tab. Nothing is saved. - This page: that exact page keeps its title and icon, including after you restart the browser. - This whole site: every page on the site gets it, in every new tab you open. WHAT ELSE IT DOES - Emoji picker with search, or type any emoji or letter yourself - Holds up on single-page apps like YouTube and Gmail, which normally overwrite the tab title as you navigate - Shows the tab's real icon and title in the preview, so you can see exactly what you are changing - A saved-customizations list, so you can see everything you have saved and remove any of it individually - Reset one tab, or reset every tab at once - Follows your system light and dark theme - Works in Chrome and Edge YOUR BROWSING STAYS PRIVATE Tab Customizer never sends your page addresses, your page titles, or your customizations to a server. Nothing about the sites you visit leaves your browser. The extension records anonymous counts of feature usage, such as "a customization was applied", with no information about which site it happened on.
