Capture a full page or import a PDF, choose the camera movement, and create a video for a website demo, product walkthrough, presentation, tutorial, or portfolio. Capture, editing, and rendering happen on your device. Captured pages, PDFs, audio, and rendered files are processed locally. Download your finished exports to your computer. OPTIONAL DOCUMOTION PRO Pro is a one-time purchase for up to three active installations. It adds: • MP4 export where supported, plus animated GIF export. • Portrait and square videos, resolutions up to 4K, and 60 fps where supported. • Camera keyframes, pan and zoom, pauses, custom timing, and easing. • Auto Camera suggestions and motion presets. • Browser frames, backgrounds, padding, rounded corners, and shadows. • Intro and outro titles, fades, and local audio for rendered videos. • Live Browser recording: capture the visible tab and its animations as a silent WebM. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a webpage and click DocuMotion, or choose Import PDF. 2. Capture the page or import your document. 3. Preview and edit in the local editor. 4. Export WebM for free, or use Pro for MP4 and GIF. Open Settings to get Pro or activate your Polar license key. Activation and automatic license checks require an internet connection. A valid cached license supports up to seven days of offline Pro access between successful checks. Use Release Licence while online to free an installation slot before moving Pro to another device. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS Permissions let DocuMotion capture the page you select, store local projects, and download exports. Chrome's debugger permission enables full-page screenshots. Additional access is requested for a specific site when PDF import or recapture needs it. Live Browser requests optional tab-recording permission. Pro activation, renewal, and device release send licensing credentials and installation identifiers to the licensing service. Captured content and media are not sent there. PDF links are downloaded from their source websites, which may use existing login cookies. Webpages can also make their own network requests while loading or scrolling. BEFORE YOU START PDF imports support files up to 64 MB and 300 pages, including password-protected documents when you provide the password. Long documents may render at a lower resolution. Desktop Chrome 116 or later is required. Browser internal pages and other protected pages cannot be captured. Keep the source tab visible during Live Browser recording or fallback scrolling capture. MP4 availability, resolution, and export performance depend on your browser and device. GIFs and Live Browser recordings do not include audio. The editor interface is currently in English.
