Docs Tools is a Chrome extension designed for technical writers working with Kore.ai documentation. It provides quick navigation between production, staging environments, and corresponding source files in GitHub. Features - Convert clipboard paths into valid documentation URLs (production or staging). - Switch between production and staging environments for supported docs sections. - Open the corresponding GitHub .mdx source file for the current documentation page. - Works only on Kore.ai documentation domains. How it works - Reads clipboard content only when a user clicks a button in the extension popup. - Reads the active tab URL only when required for environment switching. - Performs all processing locally within the browser. Supported environments - Production: docs.kore.ai - Staging: mintlify-hosted docs via our Pro license for different product areas. - GitHub: Maps help article URLs to source files available in the company's public repository. Permissions usage - tabs: Used to read and update the active tab URL based on user actions. - Host permissions: Restricted to Kore.ai documentation and staging domains only. Privacy - No data is collected, stored, or transmitted. - No tracking, analytics, or external API calls. - All operations are performed locally in the browser and after user's actions.
