Docket
Overview
Your sidebar command center for projects, tasks, notes, and people — capture it once, never lose it again.
Detailed description Docket is a lightweight workspace that lives in Chrome's side panel, so it's always one click away from whatever you're working on. WHAT IT DOES Capture tasks, notes, projects, and people without leaving your current tab Quick-add bar for fast entry — press Enter and it's saved Add tasks and notes directly from inside a project, or assign work straight from a person's profile Inbox and Today views surface what's unassigned or due Full-text search across everything you've saved Pin, archive, and tag items to keep things organized Light and dark themes Export your data to JSON or CSV any time Import structured data (handy for pulling tasks out of notes or chat transcripts, formatted as JSON) HOW YOUR DATA IS HANDLED Everything you create in Docket is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage — nothing is sent to a server, and there is no account or sign-in. The extension optionally records the URL of your current tab when you quick-add an item, purely so you can jump back to where an idea came from. That's the only thing the "tabs" permission is used for. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone who wants a single, fast place to park tasks, notes, and context about people and projects while browsing — without switching to a separate app.
