Docamatic - Add Sticky Notes to the Web

Works well. Better than others I've tried. I hope it stays updated.

i would recommend to add feature if it is possible that we can create note on pdf that is opened in browser.

Is there a hotkey functionality for it? I'd use it a lot more often if there was :)

Great extension that is badly needed - I can't believe this isn't a built in function of any browser! Great work, thank you for sharing it. As another user noted, some sites like amazon or airbnb seem to generate new url's when clicked on the same item. It would be great if we could attach the note to the first part of the url, discarding what comes after "?" (for example). A game changer would be if you could sync notes across different devices - syncing the database to the user google drive... Show more

Thanks Fred for the review. I'm currently on extended travel and trying to push out an update in the next few days to fix some problems noted below while I'm back home. One of the problems that should be fixed is a simple solution to fixing the URL issue and not considering anything with a ? or # to be part of the URL. When I return in late April, I plan on developing new features and syncing across devices through someone's cloud storage (such as google drive, onedrive, and dropbox) will be the first feature I work on. Shoot me an email if you would like to beta test this feature in the future.

Does anyone know how to export all the notes? As I click on the Docamatic icon and select the setting, it only shows the text of "Export/Import", which can't be clicked at all.

This was a feature that was working but I believe with updates has not been updated to work. I will work on updating that feature so it will work properly now that I know people use it.

At first I rated poorly *user error*... you must refresh the page you want to label before it will work - solved. The only thing I would add (which others already have) is when you open the note, there's some copy preloaded to inform you where to put the note or what to do in the box. It could be fun and humorous but only if the copy automatically disappears when you click in the box. Otherwise you have to select all and delete before writing a sticky which is a tad cumbersome. Thank you for developing this extension. This extension is close to ideal. Especially nice, it works per address (e.g. http://example.com/page#1 and http://example.com/page#2 have different stickys). However, it is a pity because bellow points are not good. 1. The background color and text color cannot be set. I want a dark theme. 2. Not resizable. resizing works only width, not height. It is why I doesn't reviewing 5 star.

Wanted to love this, but I made notes on several Amazon product pages (so I'd remember what I liked & didn't like), and Docamatic seemed to save them — but then I'd go back to the page and the note wasn't there anymore! Happened on many pages, lost all my notes... :(

I believe this is because of the URL. If the URL changes at all (say a #hello) is added to the URL, it makes finding the notes not possible. I will work on updating this

Works well. Be nice to get rid of the annoying message every time you make a new note. Having to delete it is a time waster.
