Overview
Doc Player is a text to speech (TTS) extension for Chrome.
Read web pages aloud, sentence by sentence. Select text on a web page, right-click, and send it to Doc Player. Listen in the side panel while you browse. With Doc Player, you can: - Listen to each sentence on its own, pause, or play it again. - Use focus mode to listen without distractions. - Choose “Explain” to hear a simple explanation of the current sentence. - Choose “Ask” to ask questions about the current sentence in a live voice conversation. - Keep the side panel open as you visit other websites. - Choose your favorite voice and change the reading speed. - Use “Repair text” to remove unwanted parts of the text. - Send text to the Doc Player app and continue listening there. - Listen to text from PDFs: select a passage in Chrome’s PDF viewer, then right-click to send it to Doc Player. Listen in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese. You need a Doc Player account to use the extension. Speech and AI features require a paid plan.
