Overview

Create or upload temporary Google Drive files. Set a timer so they auto move to Trash

Temporary files. A tidier Google Drive. Have ADHD like me? or just keep forgetting to delete files after a quick look? Only need a file for a little while? Doc Egg Timer lets you create or upload a file and give it a timer so it auto moves to trash when your done with it WHAT YOU CAN DO • Create Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drawings with a timer. • Upload files using the “Temp file upload” area on the left side of Drive. • Choose 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week or 30 days. • See a countdown on supported Google file pages. • Check your timers, cancel them or move timed files to Trash now. New files and uploads go into the connected account’s My Drive—not the folder you currently have open. CAN I GET MY FILES BACK? The extension moves files to Google Drive’s Trash. It does not permanently delete them. You can restore files while they are still in Trash. Cancelling a timer does not bring back files already moved there. YOUR FILES AND PRIVACY The extension only works with files it creates or files you give it permission to use. Google may ask you to select an existing file before allowing access. all your files and data is kept within google drive , we don't want them. Timers are saved only in your Chrome profile. They are not backed up online or shared between devices. IMPORTANT: Removing the extension, clearing its saved data or deleting the Chrome profile removes your timers and stops their automatic cleanup. Doc Egg Timer is an independent extension. It is not made or endorsed by Google.
