DNS Monitor
Overview
On-demand DNS monitoring with session mode and change notifications.
Stop refreshing dig. DNS Monitor lives in your browser bar and checks your domains against a target IP — so you know the second propagation completes. Built for developers and sysadmins who change DNS records. Add your domains, set your target IP, and hit Monitor. Then go back to work. You'll get a native macOS/Windows notification the moment an IP or nameserver changes. Checks are done via https://dns.google All data is stored locally. How it works: • Set a target IP address and optional nameservers • Add domains — one at a time or paste a batch • Check on demand, or start a timed monitoring session (15 min to 2 hours) • Get desktop notifications when DNS records change Features: • On-demand DNS checks via Google Public DNS — no background polling by default • Session mode: continuous monitoring with auto-stop timer • Change detection with native desktop notifications • A record + NS record verification • Bulk-add domains (space, comma, or newline separated) • Full-screen dashboard for managing large domain lists • Light, dark, and system-matched themes • Zero accounts. Zero tracking. Runs entirely in your browser.
