WATCH AT YOUR PACE • Set playback speed from 0.25× to 6×, with quick presets and optional smooth transitions. • Remember your preferred speed for each site. • Replay the previous few seconds more slowly, then automatically return to your earlier speed. • Jump back or forward ten seconds. • Loop the last ten seconds, or mark A and B to repeat a section. • Move between caption lines when the player exposes a native caption track. KEEP THE USEFUL PARTS • Save a timestamp while you watch and add a short note. • Return to saved moments on matching videos. • Export your saved moments as Markdown notes or JSON. • Saved moments stay on your device. No account is required. MAKE IT EASIER TO HEAR AND SEE • Boost quiet audio up to 600%, where the source permits audio processing. • Try Clear speech or Even volume, then fine-tune voice emphasis, low rumble, treble, and night listening. • Adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, gamma, and sharpness. • Zoom, crop, rotate, or flip video. • Reset sound and picture controls whenever you want. CONTROLS THAT STAY WITH YOU Use the popup or a small, movable toolbar on the page. The page toolbar fades after eight seconds of playback; hover near its position to bring it back. Disable it for any site, customize keyboard shortcuts, and choose a dark, light, or system appearance. Short explanations are available from the ? buttons beside controls. PRIVACY MediaDeck has no ads, developer analytics, telemetry, or developer-operated data-collection server. Page and media details are processed in your browser to provide the controls. General preferences and last-used sound and picture settings may sync through Chrome when sync is enabled. Site choices and saved moments, including page links, titles, timestamps, and your notes—are stored locally. You can export or delete saved moments in the extension. COMPATIBILITY MediaDeck works with standard HTML5 video and audio elements on regular web pages, permitted frames, and open shadow roots. Closed shadow roots, canvas-only players, browser pages, and the Chrome Web Store are not supported. DRM, cross-origin restrictions, live streams, other audio processors, and site scripts can limit individual controls. Native video fullscreen may hide the page toolbar. Saved moments depend on the site keeping a recognizable page and video identity. Clear speech uses equalization; it does not isolate voices or remove all background noise. Caption navigation requires captions the player already exposes; it does not transcribe videos. Start volume boosts low: high levels can distort or be uncomfortable.
