The extension runs automatically when entering the web portal (not even the grades tab) and takes the *general* grade scales of the courses the student is in. The extension does not take or store personal information of the student such as name or grades. The information it does take is automatically transferred to a third-party server and displayed on the designated website hitstatistics.com.
