Yokla monitors attendance announcements and your chosen alert phrases in a live lesson tab in Chrome. When you are doing something else, it alerts you with sound, a desktop notification and a separate Chrome alert window. Optionally send alerts to your phone through your own Telegram bot. Monitor your lesson tab • Captures audio only from the tab where you start monitoring. No microphone access or audio recordings. • Turkish and English speech recognition. BigBlueButton captions are not required. • Checks new BigBlueButton / MyLMS public chat messages on your device. Keep the public chat panel open. • Built-in attendance phrases (“yoklama”, “katılım”, “attendance”, “roll call”, “PIN”), optional phrase groups and up to 40 custom phrases. Useful feedback • Repeats of the same announcement from audio and chat are grouped into one alert for 2 minutes, with a count of how often it was heard. • If you miss an alert, it reminds you up to two more times; this can be turned off. • A brief, quiet message appears when you are watching the lesson tab. • Choose a melodic chime, bell or short beep and adjust the volume. • A separate Chrome alert window complements system notifications. • Monitoring continues when the extension popup is closed or Chrome is minimized. Simple setup • A short first-use guide. • Optional four-step Telegram setup: create a bot with BotFather, verify the token, open your bot and save the paired private chat. The saved connection survives updates. Manual Chat ID entry is available if pairing is incompatible with another bot application. • System light/dark theme and automatic Turkish, English or Arabic interface, including right-to-left layout. Privacy and requirements Requires desktop Chrome 135+. Audio monitoring uses Chrome’s Web Speech service; lesson audio may be sent to a remote speech recognition service and internet is required. Chat rules run locally. No developer analytics or data collection server. Telegram is optional; including speech/chat text requires a separate opt-in. Recognition depends on audio quality and connectivity and may miss or misidentify announcements. Monitoring stops when your computer sleeps or Chrome closes. Restart monitoring after refreshing the lesson tab. Audio from desktop Zoom/Teams applications outside Chrome cannot be captured. Not affiliated with BigBlueButton or MyLMS.
