Your chats, organized and findable, without giving them to anyone. ChatJump adds a small panel to the ChatGPT and Gemini sidebars. From there you can: - Save the open conversation on this device with one click. - File it in nested folders and tag it. A chat can live in several folders, across both sites. - Search everything you saved by meaning, not just keywords, with a local sentence-embedding model that runs inside the extension. Filter by site and folder. Press Ctrl+Shift+Space (rebindable at chrome://extensions/shortcuts) or click Search. - Export a conversation or a whole folder to Markdown or JSON. - Import the official ChatGPT data export (conversations.json) so history older than the sidebar shows becomes searchable too. ChatJump reads chat content on chatgpt.com and gemini.google.com only when you ask, stores it only on this device, and collects nothing. How it works: ChatJump reads what the page already shows you. It never calls ChatGPT or Gemini servers on your behalf, has no backend of its own, and sends no telemetry. Clearing the extension's data in its options page removes everything it stored. Limits to know: capture reads what the page renders, so very long chats may need a second "Save" after scrolling; Claude and Grok are not supported yet.
