Open PDFs in Navigo's document workspace in Chrome, with local editing and optional Navi AI.

Open PDF links in Navigo PDF directly in Chrome. Read, annotate, fill forms, organize pages, and download your changes in a document workspace with tabs, thumbnails, bookmarks, and quick tools. PDF links can open automatically in Navigo in the same tab, including supported links without a .pdf filename. Turn automatic opening on or off from the extension button. You can also choose a PDF from your computer or drag one into the workspace. Local file links require Chrome's separate “Allow access to file URLs” setting. Work with your documents: - Read and search PDF text; navigate with thumbnails and bookmarks. - Open multiple documents and compare them side by side. - Add text, area highlights, drawings, comments, stamps, and visual signatures. - Fill supported PDF form fields, create simple fields, and export form data. - Combine, split, insert, extract, rotate, crop, duplicate, reverse, or delete pages. - Add watermarks, page numbers, bookmarks, images, attachments, and document metadata. - Download PDFs, extracted text, page images, or a Word file containing extracted text. - Mark areas for redaction and create a flattened, image-only redacted copy. Optional Navi AI helps you ask questions, summarize a PDF, or create study notes. It requires your own Google Gemini API key and model ID. Pressing Send shares the current PDF and chat with Google Gemini; provider charges may apply. The key remains in the current viewer session. Google's handling of the request depends on its API terms and your project configuration. Viewing and editing run locally. Navigo fetches a remote PDF directly from its original server. To preserve PDF page links, the extension temporarily keeps the latest supported top-level URL for each tab in local session memory; it does not build or upload a browsing-history log. Recent filenames, favorites, zoom, and the automatic-opening preference are saved locally. The extension includes no advertising or analytics trackers. Current limits: this browser release does not include every Windows feature. Original PDF text reflow/editing, OCR/scanning, certificate signatures, and full Office-layout conversion require other tools or the desktop app. Visual signatures are not certificate signatures. Word export contains text rather than the original page layout. Comparison is side by side. New annotations cannot yet be dragged or resized after creation. Redacted exports become image-only PDFs, and printing uses rendered pages. Review exported documents before sharing. Automatic opening applies to supported top-level PDF navigations. Attachment downloads, embedded PDFs, POST-generated documents, site-owned blob URLs, expired links, and some sign-in flows may need manual download and opening. Requires Chrome 128 or later.
