OpenScript
Overview
A lightweight user script manager for modern browsers
OpenScript is a fast, lightweight, and modern user script manager built for Chrome Manifest V3. Run custom JavaScript on your favorite websites, automate repetitive tasks, and inject synced environment secrets with zero bloat. KEY FEATURES: • Built for Manifest V3: Uses the native chrome.userScripts API for maximum performance and security. • Synced Secrets: Store API tokens and secrets securely across your devices with chrome.storage.sync (accessible via OpenScript.env or env). • Per-Script Storage: Isolated, persistent key-value storage for each script via OpenScript.storage (get, set, list, delete). • External Libraries (@require): Cache remote scripts offline and bypass site CSP restrictions. • Modern Async Runtime: Direct top-level await and return without boilerplate wrappers. • Fast Built-in Editor: Write and edit scripts in the popup with metadata support (@name, @match, @run-at, @require). • Filter & Search: Quickly toggle, search, and manage your scripts. • 100% Open Source & Privacy-First: No tracking, no telemetry, and no external servers. GITHUB REPOSITORY: https://github.com/GetOpenScript/OpenScript NOTE: OpenScript requires Chrome 138 or newer. To run user scripts in Chrome MV3, enable "Allow User Scripts" in your Chrome extension details (chrome://extensions).
