DispatchTrack Order Assist shows the delivery status of an order from whatever system you are already working in — your order management system, your ERP, a supplier portal, an email — without switching tabs or re-typing an order number. HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign in to DispatchTrack in a browser tab, as you normally would. The extension uses that session; it has no sign-in of its own and never asks for your password. 2. Turn it on for the sites you want it to read. It works on DispatchTrack straight away. Anywhere else it reads nothing at all until you press "Enable for this site" in the side panel, which asks Chrome for that one site. "Turn off here" gives a site back whenever you want. 3. Open a page that shows an order. The extension recognises the order number and offers a lookup; on a list page it offers every order it found so you can pick one. 4. The side panel shows that order's DispatchTrack delivery status — the delivery window, driver and vehicle, customer details, items, and recent notifications — with a link through to the full order in DispatchTrack. You can also select any order number on an enabled page and look it up directly from the selection. WORKING ACROSS DISPATCHTRACK INSTANCES If you work in more than one DispatchTrack, the panel header lists the ones open in your browser and you pick which to answer from. Your choice stays until you change it. WHERE IT WORKS Order numbers are recognised out of the box on common order and fulfilment screens — order management systems, ERPs, supplier portals, ticketing tools and email. Recognition rules are maintained centrally by DispatchTrack and load automatically, so newly supported screens arrive without a new release. Where a page is not recognised, select the order number and look it up from the selection. WHAT YOU NEED A DispatchTrack account, signed in to in your browser. The extension looks orders up against your own DispatchTrack instance, over your own session — it has no account system of its own and no data of its own. PRIVACY - The extension never asks for, handles or stores a password. It uses the DispatchTrack session already in your browser, and when that session ends it points you back to DispatchTrack to sign in again. - It reads DispatchTrack, and otherwise only the sites you have turned it on for. A site you have not enabled is one it cannot read at all — not one it reads and chooses to ignore.
