This extension is what I have been looking for for a long time. Easy-to-use. Just install, set time range, click export, and now you have your chat export. In short: this extension has all what I need. Thank you for developing it!

doesnt work, needs weird permissions

Can only download the latest 1000 messages. Also, it can read whatever's on your screen on aliyuncs.com, facebook.com, pinterest.com, reddit.com, and twitter.com

Not working

Only downloads the 1000 most recent chats in a given server. I have chats going back to 2017, and this is not even close to being enough.

Nothing shows up when I click the button and I'm on the discord site

apparently doesn't work anymore, the toolbar does not slide in when I click on the extension icon (Aug 2023)

Has some rough edges here and there but the main issue that this batch downloader can not download in batches. You are limited to max 100 attachments, can only select 12 at a time and have to work through every page and then it downloads them file per file rather then e.g. a zip. It was faster to bulk download the chat as html instead and crawl the images from there, but even that feature is limited to 1000 messages.
